Analysis and study of your plastics project

Every plastic project begins with a in-depth needs analysis and feasibility study. This essential step allows us to to understand your challenges and define the most suitable solution, both technically and economically, logistically and environmentally.

Why implement a plastic project study for an industrial project?

Through a Initial feasibility study and definition of technical recommendations experts, the’Plastic project study is paramount in the choices of material, thickness, shapes, and tolerances for your project.

For this, we rely in particular on our In-depth knowledge of thermoplastic materials and thermoforming.

This step is also essential for determining the Industrial means to implement for the completion of your project and allows the construction of a Feasibility study and technical-economic proposal documented for your project.

The 3 key stages to analyse and understand your need

1 - Customer listening

Initially, our sales team will gather your plans, 2D or 3D files, your specifications (function, usage environment, dimensional requirements), as well as your logistical and regulatory constraints to take into account.

This initial analysis allows our teams to fully understand and grasp your industrial needs. It also serves as the starting point for defining the risks to be taken into account during the project.

2 - Feasibility Study & Modelling

L’objectif de cette phase est d’aligner notre offre au plus proche de votre besoin, tout en intégrant une analyse des risques, et des préconisations techniques (matière et/ou forme) afin d’y remédier.

.

During the feasibility study, we analyse the possible technical solutions to meet your needs. When the project involves adapting or reproducing an existing part, reverse engineering using a 3D scanner allows for precise capture of the existing geometry. To do this, we model an initial version of the envisaged part. Its shape and its behaviour during thermoforming are tested and modelled using CAD tools and T-Sim analyses. These tools are essential peripherals for enriching and validating the feasibility study.

3 - Drafting a technical and commercial offer

The final stage of the study phase is the formalisation of the technical solution through the provision of a definitive technical and economic proposal.

This offer includes, in particular, a precise breakdown of the proposed solution (recommended materials, tooling to be produced, and the logistical and financial flows to be planned for the successful completion of the project). You will therefore receive a clear simulation of the anticipated investment and a detailed study of your project, including, in particular, the details of the feasibility study carried out upstream (modelling and technical recommendations chosen).

We are replying to your questions

What is the average duration of a plastic project study ?

L
K

The duration of a study varies depending on the volume of data to be analysed and the simulations required.
• Logistics solution: 48 to 72 hours
Solution method: 5 to 10 working days

What data should be provided to launch this analysis ?

L
K
In order to successfully complete the feasibility study phase, we require our clients to provide a clear statement of need, any available 2D/3D files, environmental constraints, logistical requirements, and a comprehensive specification document.

What are the technical limitations assessed ?

L
K

The feasibility study identifies the limitations of thermoforming processes, material constraints, risks of shrinkage or deformation, and the economic study for the volumes considered.

We are positioning this phase as a technical pillar of its value proposition. It ensures that every project is built on solid, validated, and documented foundations, before any go-live.
